Bri's iPod

Hinged copper and brass time capsule. 4.25" x 2.5" x 0.5"

This piece is intended to provide insight to the soundtrack of my life and reference an important objects in my upbringing: an iPod and vinyl records. This piece is a time-capsule of a miniature collection of albums that invoke memories from my past. The albums bring me back to specific eras, years, days, and moments in my life. I hope that the viewer can also connect to some of the pieces inside of the capsule, inviting their own past back to the surface when looking inside.
